I've looked at a number of "last x comments" blocks, but here's the problem: If the last x comments were all on the same article, that doesn't let people see recent comment activity in other articles.
What I need is a block that shows:
a. The last x articles with comments, sorted by the one with the most recent comment
b. For each article in the above list, the total comments, comment author, and time of last comment.
There are very similar blocks that show forum posts for various message board modules. Is there also something like this for article comments? If not, could one of you php/postnuke gurus take a shot at it? I've got zero coding skills or I'd tackle it myself. But I think a lot of folks would find this useful.
