Hi everyone and thanks in advance for all your kind answers and thoughts.
I was wondering if by any chance any of you knows of the existence of a module for PN to manage MP3s, able to play them, random and in sequence, categorize them and so on and so forth.
ALSO, I'm wondering how difficult would it be to write a module or use PN to simulate and make a "intranet" or family version of a event manager such as E-Party. Any idea to the issue is more than welcome!

We use the Zina is not Andromeda (zina) media player on our PN sites. Easy to install. No admin interface needed as it is all controlled from directories and files.

I actually found it and installed it. Organizing the directories is a pain in the neck though. Is Andromeda different and not worth it the money?

I used Andromeda a year or so ago and remember that it had the same layout and basic feature set. They may have since changed.
The Artist Name/CD Name/Songs Name directory approach is the same that PC-based MP3 players/jukeboxes use. They rip an audio file from a CD and create directories based on Artist Name/CD Name/Song Name. How does doing that on the web differ from doing it on your PC?
