I'm not sure if there has been an attempt at making a module like this, or even if there is one. I've been searching for days, and came up with nothing, so I figured I'd make a post.

First off, before it gets stuck in your head that the solution to my problem is to just search for static pages, or Content Express, or IncludePages, or Post Wrap, or whatever, forget about it.

My theory (I assume it's still just a theory.. although, it would shock me if no one has had the idea) is to create a module that includes PHP ID Includes. If you don't know what those are, or if I'm just calling them the wrong name check out the following link for an example:

    http://forums.postnuke.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=13035

Basically, I need someone who is familiar with writing PHP and PN-Modules to write a module that uses PHP ID Includes. Then all you would have to do, is edit that modules index.php and add the section you want to be included into your PN. To link it on a menu, you'd just go into your Admin page Blocks > Menu > Edit > Add Link.

Sounds like it would be a simple add on to me, and would solve TONS of peoples problems as far as static HTML pages and extra sections are concerned. Hopefully I explained myself clearly, if you have any questions, please let me know... I'm dieing to see if this module will end (if there isn't one already) all my problems and god only knows how many other peoples problems. Thanks.

Let me add something. I may have been a little confusing on what the module would do.

The module would include the PHP ID Include code in the module's index.php file. To add a section, you just edit the module's index.php file, and add a section to the PHP ID Include code, like you would regularly.

Obviously, the module would need to be edited, so that it inserts the PHP ID Include code to wherever you want the section to load--in the middle column.

Seems complex to me.. but then again, I know little about coding.
