First, a simple addon might be to allow people in the main menu administration to be bale to add a field to make it a popup window wiht certain size restraints.
e.g. in URL field
popup(300x300,URL:("http://www.postnuke.com"),menu=no);
and that would create a popup window at the size of 300x300 with no menu to the URL of postnuke.com
Also, another addition. A built in way to add a headline viewer as a substatute for displaying "short" articles on the main page.
And last, a way to be able to choose whether a "general" user has
to have approval or not to post. (my use for this postnuke is for an intranet so all users are allowed to post story's)
And even be able to say hey, certain access levels are allowed to post without restrictions, and lower levels can post but require approval?
thanks!!! GOOD JOB!! KEEP IT UP!!1

yes of course Send me some. LOL
About stories and all posting tot hem, just set it up in permissions. How you'll ask? Well it's been covered so many times here on Postnuke about permissions I think it would be easier if you had a long look around to see what you find.
You will find it. And much more...
If you want links to open in a new window, simply make an HTML block and ad as much code in there as you want, you can even add ALL the links from thre main menu in it, and turn off the main menu if you want to.
But why? LOL
