OK, we all know the new wave of journalism is going to blur the distinction between the journalist and the audience. Postnuke is an EXCELLENT vehicle for this.
What I would like to do is post articles to my Postnuke Site via email. Users of Blogger Pro will stand up and say "I CAN ALREADY DO THIS!"
What I would like to do is allow a few of the admin-level users to be given a 'secret' email address to which they can send their articles to. The email would then be converted to plain text, or somehow be pulled into PostNuke (so it can be indexed and searched like all the other articles).
Maybe this can already be done?
The News Submission for PostNuke is currently usable, but it's clunky, and I think a lot more of my users would submit articles if they could simply email the info. Also, sometimes when I'm offshore, I can send and receive emails, but getting on the web is simply not possible.
Anyone?
Thanks!

OK, I've installed it. Mailbag is found at PN-MailBag - PostNuke E-mail Gateway Copyright (C) 2002 by Casper Baghuis (baghuis@users.sourceforge.net)

Thanks so much for turning me on to this. As always, be sure you really pay attention when installing this module since you can really easily open your system to attack. But it's a great way to allow you to submit stories via email.
It definitely needs to have some work done as far as allowing even simple HTML in the emails. But in any case, it's a way to get the story to you. Your newshounds can submit via email from almost anywhere.

I don't think it works with current versions. Seems like I had some problems with it under 750, I'll see if it's in my archives.

Jackspace, please add this idea to the Feature Tracker, so it won't get lost.
