  i just installed pncUserHack , and it won't send the email to the new user containing user/pass info. everything is set to do that, but it just won't. anything that i'm missing?

  I use it too, with no problems. I edited my copy to make the questions clearer and correctly translate many things, and it is otherwise and functionally the same version you have if you are using 1.6c

  Initial group for users : Users -- Group
  Allow users to override theme? : Yes
  Authorize User chosen password : Yes
  User can ask for deletion of their account :Yes

  It works for me.

  Didn't do much... you found the problem. I only banged my head one time or two :)... Error was a corrupt pntables.php
