Hi there,

I've just completed my PostNuke site.

These are the items that i included, please let me know and give me suggestions on any improvements, critics, comments, etc.

Theme >> PixelMayhem's Green Machine (Slight Hack to add in login panel at the top of the page)

News Submission >> Added advertisement in every article (Similar to major news sites like CNN, ChannelNewsAsia, BBC, etc)

Front Page >> Custom-made Auto-Update block (featuring featured article, 5 latest section articles added, featured review and featured download all rolled into one) << Do you like that custom block? Let me know.

Wow thats a fantastic site, not keen on the colour but that's a personal preference....I just don't like that green. The custom blocks are awesome.

not a bad effort, your website looks good , the colour scheme is ok but now you got this far try changing the colours.
Just remember we can only give our opinions, how your site ends up is up to you!

If you are going to comment be truthful or dont bother they guys are looking for an opinion not just a post from you!

Fair comment modeler, but there are also different levels of colour blindness and again maybe I should of mentioned I fail in red ...not green and only fail in red when there are similar shades all mixed together.


As for my post It was an honest opinion and who the f... do you think you are telling me otherwise......I enjoyed the site and the layout of the site very much and if you think I have time to post just for the sake of it you must be jokin........besides only I know what I think and for you to presume otherwise is idiotic to say the least.

I also posted for my site to be viewed....do you not think I would like an honest opinion returned....so why would I be anything but honest.....twat!!

Well ok you have red there but also blue and purple ???? ok world you judge if i an right or wrong , does oKoolio give the impression he cant see the colours on his website a simple yes or no ? i say yes
as for being a twat ??? why stoop to that level because you got picked up on something,is that the way you conduct converstaions when you dont agree with what others are saying ?

Please calm it down and show a little respect for others. If you have valild feedback then by all means provide it.

If Michael is colour blind in red then he's colour blind in red - end of discussion.

Your initial post came across as confrontational. If that wasn't your intention fine but be aware that a post on a forum lacks the nuances of face to face conversation and thus intention can be lost.

I'm not sure where modeler is from but I know 'twat' can be offensive in some parts of the UK so be careful using terms like that. I personally don't care but...

Consider this 'dispute' officially refereed and closed :wink:

I opologize Grey_Fox, you posted here for feedback to your site and so it should be. My opinion was an honest one and thats all that matters to me, everything else is irrelevant.

If you wish to take this up with me further Modler then e-mail me......I have nothing to hide and my only failing is in a lack of confidence when it comes to colours. My dislike of green is a personal preference which I did state.

Thank you for your honest opinion on my site ikoolio & modeler, i'm fine with critisicms and think that without them, no one can ever have a site that would be 'perfect'.

I too think that it's too green, changing the colour would mean to change all the images which would be a big big task.

Probably i'll work on that and will post an update here.

Functional but the green... like the others green especially that shade is well unappealing to the eyes.

Other than that its near perfect.

It's great! Of course I could not help but notice that some of the layout reminds me of another site I know all too well.

Thanks for the compliment guys & Jim. Couldn't have done it without the unique site of Armorama.com as a guide :)

Made some slight tweaks and created a centre block out of that. Glad that you guys like it. :)

Will think of a substitution for the green theme heh.
