Hey all, I downloaded and installed the latest version of PostNuke to my site. I am a new user of this powerfull tool but am really impressed with it so far.
I am currently looking for a theme to base my site on but am having trouble understanding how to tell if the theme will work with my version of PN BEFORE I upload it to the site. It appears that I have ver. .7.2.3, will themes that were created for versions before this one work with my version of PN? How far back can I go in terms of version in my search for a theme?
Much thanks in advance for any responses... except those calling me an idiot, as I already knew that. ;)

I am not an expert myself by far but thought I would drop you a line anyway. I am in the process of looking for a theme myself and I was originally using a theme called allixsilver which is an older theme I am guessing. Everything seems to work fine except I cannot get the table width to work at 100%. There is a thing called Xanthia theme engine that is supposedly at http://www.pnapi.com that is supposed to be great for customizing themes and there are a few that are already made for the theme engine that you might want to check. Well I hope this helps a little I am pretty new to postnuke myself but I know how frustrating it is when you first start out because I am there with ya. 8)
Good luck and c-ya around!

Themes written for 721, 714, 713, 712 and 711 will generally work on 723. You takes your chances with anything before those. Although they should generally work or can be made to work without too much effort.
Check out the MTmodular theme available at http://www.mtrad.com. It works and it has a fair amount of documentation with it...
