Main difference is the ability to modify the theme.cfg file on the server. Makes it a bit easier to modify the file when you can see it better.

So why not just install PostNuke on localhost (your own server) and edit your themes there? that way you just edit the cfg in notepad>CTRL+S>switch to browser>F5 and you just saved yourself a couple of bucks and alotta time if remotehost (your host) is slow (like lycos :()
