  Hey guys. First of all I want to thank all of you who have contributed to the PN project. You've done a great job and created an excellent product.
  
  Here are a few things I'd like to see either added or changed in future releases. Do what you will with my thoughts, but I figured I'd share them with you.
  
  
  Administrative issues:
  
  Allow users to change their own username to one that isn't already in use.
  Allow users to delete their own accounts, or at least request that they be deleted. Actual deletion could be done by admin staff.
  
  Create a set of "custom" profile attributes that could be set on the site. For instance maybe I want to have users share their astrological sign, so I could setup one of the custom profile fields to be "astro sign". That would then show up in their profile.
  
  Allow users to be looked up by email address rather than just by username. I often get requests from people that need help and they only give me their username. OR when I send out emails to my users the bounces come back with only the email address. If I want to delete the accounts I have to search the database for username, then go into admin and delete them by username.
  
  
  
  For the banner module:
  
  Allow created of multiple banner types. For instance, perhaps I want to have a rotating 468x60 banner at the top, and also a rotating 120x60 banner else where on the site.
  
  I'd like to be able to create multiple banner "campaigns" that could be referenced independently of each other.
  
  And perhaps allow banners to be referenced directly rather than just rotating. So I could setup six 120x60 banners and place all six of them on a page, each referenced directly. Then I would be able to track how many clicks each gets via the banner module and so could my advertisers. As it is now, that can only be done for the rotating banner.
  
  
  Web Links:
  
  Change the modify to allow you to select a category and see all links in that category. Each link should have an edit button after it. Having to look it up by link ID is cumbersome.
  
  
  Topics:
  Allow sub topics for main topics.

  If you take a look at:

  then you see a module which uses subtopics, static text etc
  
  Also you might want to try out the xuser module (in the downloads or http://www.kantersgroep.com/xuser02beta.zip) which has quite some more features. As for the Banners, I thought I saw a module sometime ago which can do this, dont remember where.
