Hi,
I'm the main developer of Moodle (and I'm here because the previous poster told me about this thread).
I'm not aware of any "porting" of Moodle to PostNuke, and I'm not even sure that is possible. I see Moodle as a "standalone product", with which I can experiment to create the best environment for e-learning that I can. I do not particularly want to be bound by any of the Nuke code. However, if someone else can see promising areas of development then I am always open to collaborating with other programmers to add features and improve Moodle's tech-friendliness.
Currently, Moodle's authentication engine does provide support for Nuke (among many other methods such as LDAP, POP, IMAP etc) which allows a Moodle installation to re-use your existing Nuke usernames/passwords (and other info if required).
I know of at least one person who has used this together with Postwrap to make Moodle appear to be a Nuke module. Some recent changes in CVS have further improved Moodle's handling in this situation (it now has awareness of an enclosing frame and so won't "break out" of it.).
Cheers,
Martin
Moodler, do you know the user who has experience of using PN with moodle?
