Sorry, it's so easy to assume that people know the basics when you've done it so many times. From 0.762 to 0.764 there are no
DB changes so it's just a matter of replacing all files
except third party moduels
and config.php (which holds your
DB connection info).
So...
1. Backup files.
2. Set your theme to extralite.
3. Clear/delete all files.
4. Place third party modules back into the modules directory as well as any custom blocks you may have into the includes/blocks directory. If you're using a custom/third party theme add that back into the themes directory at this point too.
5. Replace config.php with your backup copy (you might want to compare the old with the new, but I don't believe there were any changes to the entries in this file for this upgrade).
That should be it. I think step 5 is all you're missing at this point but there's the whole thing anyway.
I think PostNuke seems promissing, but i am missing a good documentation [53] of the system.
This issue is painfully known and there is a team dedicated to
documentation [54] at this point, albeit this will be for 0.8 forward. That being said this forum works well for any questions you may have.
