Importing CmodsDownloads in to Downloads after .8 RC3 upgrade

Im not sure what I am looking for when I am trying to import downloads from a previous installation of CmodsDownloads into the new Downloads 2.2.

I upgraded to the .8 version but no luck with transferring the downloads, any suggestions?

A bit more information: I can see the CmodsDownloads data in the database, but still cant see how the new downloads module can access/import the downloads.
