It seems, and I maybe wrong, that PostNuke's development has ground to a near halt. I realize this is on the release of a upgrade to .8 which seems to make a major leap foreword, Yet the community has all but vanished.
I was here about 4 years ago, and this forum was getting a ton of posts a day. Now I see only a few... Its discouraging, where has everyone gone? My frustration grows out of the lack of support. I am asking questions on the postNuke forum, and am not getting responses. I use to spend significant amounts of time answering peoples questions... but now I cant get an answer.
I really hope PostNuke is on the path of progress, and not self-destruction... With the increased power of the module's that are designed, Post Nuke could become a very powerful application. I dont know what to do, i have a project that I need to do, and i cant get reliable support. I am even starting to think that there are products out there that have learned allot from the Nuke system, and have started from a fresh and different angle that is now providing a stronger user base.
I cant speak for the CMS world as a whole, I am limited to the Nuke CMS's and when I was doing my development, PostNuke was on the top of the pack.
Granted PostNuke has ALLOT of really great modules available. I even have to say that .8 looks very promising. I fear that I am attempting to do something with a hammer when I need a chisel.
Its eveident when you look at this specific topic and you see threads 2 years old...
