At this place you find details to several Zikula-based distributions. These are collections of different extensions in view of particular applications. So expensive searches for common solutions are saved and a smooth cooperation of contained components is ensured.
Individually customizable
You are bound to download the distributions as how they are offered. They are intended as suggestion or preselection of certain extensions, but you are free to enrich your selection by additional components.

  • eCommerce 1.0

    The eCommerce distribution is specifically built for those looking to quickly set up an online shop with Zikula.  It includes the available eCommerce modules and other supporting modules to handle News and Contact forms for example.

    Note that zWebstore is included in this distribution, but as a commercial module must be downloaded seperately. The extDB will show you according url during the package download.

  • Demo 1.0

    This is a demo distribution.  It contains all the modules, blocks and themes in the extensions database, and is ideal for testing the full featureset of Zikula.  It is updated occasionally by the Zikula team to add new modules.

    Note that this distribution is currently not completely representative of the number of modules, blocks and themes available for Zikula as some modules have yet to be added to the Extensions Database.

  • Enterprise 1.0

    This distribution is built for enterprise use of the Zikula Framework.  It includes modules for authorising against LDAP, modules with a focus on workflow and writer->editor content approval and revisions control, in addition to accessible Section 508 compliant themes.

    A distribution designed for building a community, or portal website.  This distribution has many modules, not all of which will be useful for a community website.  Modules that are not desired can be easily removed.

  • Blogging 1.0

    This distribution is intended for those who want to start a blog using Zikula, or those who wish to provide a blogging service to those who register on their website.

    Unfortunately at this stage the distribution does not include custom templates for the news module, so this is left to the user, however key features such as a visual editor and media manager are included.

  • Content Management 1.0

    The content management distribution contains a selection of modules recommended for advanced content management, with both workflow and writer->editor roles possible.

    Included in this distribution are Content, for simple pages with revisions control and an inbuilt translations system; PageMaster for extremely advanced content management on custom content types using templated input forms, full workflow and fine grained permissions; scribite for content editing, and a number of different media modules which are integrated into the scribite editor.

    This distribution is maintained by the Zikula Team.
