Does not work in pnForum
It is not apparent from the description above, but Scribite currently (3.1) does not work in pnForum (and apparently also not in Dizkus). The issue seems to be that pnForum (and Dizkus) posting are based on Ajax-javascript functions that keep scribite from seeing that there is a post in the text message area.

For pnForum use pn_bbcode (and pn_bbsmile).
For Dizkus use bbcode and (bbsmile).

Not really a bug, since bbcode accomplishes the same thing - but it should be clear in the documentation.

I have gotten it to work in pnForum by making my own pnForum theme with a lot of the javascript removed. It was more important for us to have scribite in pnForum than Ajax.

In 3.2 there is not a 'full' package
I found this confusing. Previous versions had a 'full' version that included scribite and a collection of editors. With 3.2 if one goes from the extdb to Scribite and download, one gets only scribite and YUI and has to go back and select, download and install the desired editors. This may actually be better behavior, but there should be some note on the extdb page, I think.

(Note: Love Scribite. Thanks.)

Full package
Sven - maybe you could add something like "scribite! 3.2 Full" version with editors attached and notes about licensing issues.
That way I've added menutree, where is "2.2" clean version and "2.2 BT" version with templates added. This way users can get way they want from extdb
(but note that only last version is added to Wizard packaging).

No TinyMCE?
Any way to re-enable this? I have been developing user docs for tinyMCE.

@bronto:
TinyMCE is not included in scribite! anymore. This has diefferent reasons we will explain in a news entry the next days.

But you can add the editor to scribite/pnincludes/tiny_mce

All functions will remain in scribite! - but no support is given from me. Sorry for that.

Xinha not working in 4.1
I have set up a new site and used scribite 4.1 for the first time (after using 3.1 on previous sites). In using it, I found that openWYSIWYG works just fine, but that Xinha will not load. Xinha gets to the point where it says, "Loading in progress. Please wait! ... Finishing", and then just stops with the Xinha splash window displayed. This is true using both Firefox 3.5.7 and Safari 4.0.4. I am using an iMac running System 10.6.2. The host is a Linux server running CentOS 5.4, Apache 2.2.14, PHP 5.3.1, an MySQL 5.0.85. I also tried it on a PC running Windows XP SP3 and Firefox 3.5.7.

Given that I want to tie in with Mediashare and only Xinha has the link with Mediashare, getting Xinha working correctly is important to me.

If you have any suggestions of what I can do, I would greatly appreciate.

re: Xinha not working
It's working fine for me on my system, maybe try re-installing? I presume you've tried more than once to load it.

re: Xinha not working
Please try re-saving the xinha-configuration (plugins-settings). This should help.

1. There is a problem with the Mediashare plugin. Please deactivate it and try again.

2. If that works:
Check /pnincludes/xinha/plugins/mediashare.js:

Is it mediashare.js or MediaShare.js?
Try renaming it and activate it again.
Editor should load.

Strange thing. This issue can be also checked in Firebug-Net mode - there is a file not found message because the name is incorrect ...

same errors when loadind xinha
On a fresh install of zikula 1.2.1 and scribite 4.1, I have same error messages (like magicvince) when xinha is loading.

Strange thing, when I extract the module_scribite_4-1.zip file donwload from here, I have a message to remplace an existing file (modules\scribite\pnincludes\xinha\plugins\Mediashare\mediasxxx).
Maybe a mistake during compressing?

Solution for error "forbidden"
In Cozi there is a solution ticket 67
http://code.zikula.org/scribite/ticket/67

In /modules/scribite/pnincludes we need to rename 1.htaccess to .htaccess

it works for me.

Maybe usefull to indicate in Wiki !

Xinha javascript error in IE
The Xinha version being distributed from the Cozi still has the javascript error I repoted in ticket 57

http://code.zikula.org/scribite/ticket/57

This ticket is marked as closed four months ago. Could the Xinha package be updated to include this patch ?
