Description:
pnWebLog is a simple module for registered postnuke users to install a own WebLog. Users can publish static pages and postings as usual in weblogs. Links can also be added. There is a category management and there are many privacy settings possible. Other users - if this is wanted by the weblog owner - can comment postings. Now also every user can manage an own guestbook in his blog.
Now - if pnUserPicture is integrated - every blog owner can manage his own photogallery!
Feel free to use this new module. If there are bugs or feature requests add them in the NOC please.
There is also a block available to show the newest postings of the active (public) weblogs.
Another feature (in combination with apache and mod_rewrite) is the usage of subdomains (username.domain.tld) as url.
To publish content, xinha is used. If you want to see a demonstration use the demonstration link!

WebLogs are sth. like a private homepage where postnuke users of a community can publish content without the knowledge that is necessary if you publish a regular page.
It has nothing to do with a News-module or sth. like that. check it out and you'll see how it works ,-)
