Articles: MyProfile 2.1 released
myProfile, the flexible zikula profile module, has now been released in version 2.1. Some parts of the module have been rewritten and new functions were added. myProfile is a powerful profile module created to be used (as an example) inside huge communities that need flexible user profiles. It can include Maps, different data types, pictures etc. Version 2.1 was released to increase compatibility with Zikula 1.2 and to add some new features.
myProfile offers you these new functions now:
- Gettext compatibility
- Import function to import data from the Profile module
- Improved search engine functions for user profile search engine
- Compatibility to zikula user variables: Profile fields can also be stored as profile variables now to be accessable easily in other module's templates etc.
- Many bugs have been fixed
- Some feature requests are included now. For example it is now easily possible to use the zikula core's internal country map as dropdown menu in the user profile configuratiopn page
